This three-channel (infrared, water vapor, visible light) dataset from the Fengyun-4 (FY-4) satellite is developed to meet the research demand of filling meteorological monitoring blind spots over oceanic regions. It is collected from the meteorological satellite database stored by Easy Weather Technology Co., Ltd. The dataset was gathered in June 2020, while the raw data was generated on May 1, 2019. The dataset contains three types of meteorological satellite data: infrared channel data, water vapor channel data, and visible light channel data. Its spatial coverage ranges from 24°S to 60°N and 24°E to 140°E, with a temporal resolution of 15–30 minutes and an approximate spatial resolution. The data is stored in HDF5 format, with a total size of 6 GB.
