Forest division in Saxony — Forest sub-borders

The data set contains the boundaries of the forest parts as a forestry economic unit in the Free State of Saxony. Forest economic units are formed within the framework of the forestry facility for each forest operation and updated on the deadline. The data collected, the so-called basic forest data, are the basis for the economic use of the forest. They are stored in the forest database as well as in geoinformation systems and visualised in various maps of the state enterprise Sachsenforst.
