The objective of this study was to investigate two different soil surveys in the southern Amazonia region, assessing microbial community structure by the genes 16S rRNA for Archaea and Bacteria, and 18S rRNA for Eukaryotes including Fungi, Protozoa, and Animalia and correlating the communities with the land use types (native vegetation, pasture and crops), the soil chemistry and the land use intensity.
