16S rRNA gene sequencing of gut microbiota in autoimmune hepatitis mice following resistant starch type 3 (RS3) intervention

Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a chronic progressive liver disease characterized by immune-mediated hepatocyte injury. Emerging evidence indicates that gut microbiota dysbiosis plays a pivotal role in the pathogenesis of AIH by regulating host immune responses. Resistant starch type 3 (RS3), a fermentable dietary fiber, has been demonstrated to reshape gut microbiota and exert anti-inflammatory effects in various disease models.
