The bibliographic records of “Partituras” of the National Library of Spain establish in a standardised way the description of the noted music hosted by the BNE, in accordance with the technical process regulations: International Standard Book Description (ISBD), Listing Rules and Format MARC21 for bibliographic records. The music noted includes scores or musical parts, schematic representations, tablatures, guidelines for random compositions, drawings or paintings conceived as musical compositions..., and any other way of representing the four components of musical sound: tone, duration, ringing and sound strength.
