Canopy Stratification and Seasonal Population Regulation of the Spiraling Whitefly Aleurodicus dispersus Russell (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae)

This dataset contains the raw data generated and analysed for the manuscript entitled “Canopy Stratification and Seasonal Population Regulation of the Spiraling Whitefly Aleurodicus dispersus Russell (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae)” submitted to the Journal of Applied Entomology. The repository includes: Canopy-wise distribution data of Aleurodicus dispersus across sixteen host crop species. Seasonal population dynamics observations recorded at fortnightly intervals on cassava under field conditions in southern India. Abiotic environmental variables, including temperature, relative humidity, rainfall, wind speed, sunshine hours, and evaporation. Biological control parameters, including parasitism and predator abundance. Statistical analysis files and associated metadata used for generalized linear mixed model (GLMM) analyses and graphical visualizations. These datasets support all analyses, tables, and figures presented in the associated manuscript and are provided to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and long-term accessibility of the research findings.
