Lake Okeechobee Littoral Vegetation (2007)

This polygon feature class defines the extent and type of littoral vegetation within the western marsh portion of Lake Okeechobee between Belle Glade and the Kissimmee River (including Eagle Bay Island, Henry Creek, and Three Islands) circa 2007. These data were collected under the CERP and LOPP programs for use in performance measure evaluation related to the long-term health of the Lake Okeechobee's littoral plant community. Okeechobee. These data were stereoscopically interpreted using softcopy photogrammetric workstations by Photo Science, Inc. from 2007 color infrared (CIR) aerial photography flown at 1:6000 and 1:12,000 scale.
