In this study, we applied spatial multi-criteria decision analysis to examine the natural resource characteristics of Huanggang, China. An evaluation system comprising 56 indexes for land, water, forest, wetland, and minerals was constructed. Analytic hierarchy process and ordered weighted averaging were used for the single resource category, and the entropy weight method and technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution were used to aggregate multi-resource categories.This dataset includes evaluation results for each type of natural resource as well as an overall comprehensive evaluation result.
