资源简介:
Data were collected to obtain high-resolution surface biogeochemistry measurements at the Belize river mouth and along the barrier reef using the autonomous surface vehicle (ASV) C-worker 4. This was the first deployment of C-worker 4 with a biogeochemistry payload. The data were collected with the aim to understand and unpick controls on biogeochemistry of Belize's coastal zone and the influence of the river. Data were collected in November 2018 over three days, with three transects - during daylight hours. Data collection was planned by Claire Evans and collected in country by Sarah Cryer, Terry Wood and James Strong. The payload deployed comprised of sensors for conductivity, temperature, depth (CTD), dissolved oxygen (DO), pCO2, chlorophyll fluorescence, Coloured Dissolved Organic Matter (CDOM), Turbidity, Dissolved Organic Carbon (DOC) and current profiling. The payload is lowered out of the bottom of the vehicle, which is set on transects and all sensors are flow through. If required, data has been compensated for temperature, salinity and/or pressure, and calibrated using manufacturer provided equations, but has not been calibrated using bottle data. Data were collected as part of the Commonwealth Marine Economies Programme Belize (CMEP Belize). The ASV C-worker 4 and all sensors are part of the CMEP Containerised Autonomous Marine Environmental Laboratory (CAMEL) facility.
