Characterization of the oral and gut microbiome in patients with Kawasaki disease

Here, we collected the fecal and oral samples from KD patients and healthy controls, then the diversity and composition of microbiota was analyzed by using the high-throughput sequencing. Results showed that the diversity from KD patients was significantly lower than that from the healthy controls both in the gut and oral microbiota.
