This dataset includes cellular response and antibacterial activity results for β-type titanium alloy samples in the untreated condition and after micro-arc oxidation (MAO) treatment. The data include biological evaluations performed using both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacterial strains as well as cell-based assays to assess biocompatibility. The dataset enables the evaluation of the influence of MAO process parameters on the biological performance of the coatings, including antibacterial properties and cytocompatibility. The results support the assessment of MAO-based surface modifications for potential biomedical implant applications.
