Pre-publication Conceptual Draft - Selfmatics (Not peer-reviewed)

This paper introduces Selfmatics, a novel foundational science dedicated to modeling the self and consciousness as complex dynamical systems. Integrating mathematical tools from calculus of variations, systems theory, and control theory, Selfmatics aims to establish a formal framework to understand psychological dynamics, self-awareness, and the life course of the individual. Although Selfmatics is an emerging discipline not yet formally recognized, this work lays the groundwork for its academic development and interdisciplinary applications.
