The Effect of Acacia saligna Invasion on the Soil Nematode Population

Acacia saligna is an Australian tree that has become invasive inmany parts of the globe. In order to determine its effect on the soil free livingnematode community, we conducted a research in which we compared nematodesamples from beneath the canopy of A. saligna, Retama raetam, and a bare soilcontrol. We sampled in three different time periods and in two depths, in order tohave a robust picture of the nematode community.
