Latin America: what Christmas means to children in 2023

A survey conducted in October 2023 explored the meaning of Christmas for Latin American children and teens. Surprisingly, only about a fourth of survey respondents indicated that Christmas meant they would receive presents. Some of the most popular Christmas gifts for children in Latin America were video games, clothes, and gift cards. Over half of surveyed children and teens saw Christmas as a time to spend with their families.
