Microbial communities in marine sediment mesocosms spiked with organic matter and emamectin benzoate (EMB) under different oxygen conditions

The goal of this study is to assess microbial community shifts in mesocosms spiked with organic matter (fish wastes) and the sea lice pesticide emamectin benzoate (EMB) under anoxic and normoxic conditions. Samples were collected from initial sediments and organic matter before experimental set-up, at the start of the experiment (t0) and after incubation for 99 days (t2) to evaluate microbial communities over time.
