Measurements of the mixed radiation fields produced by proton pencil beams in water with Timepix detector in ToT mode

<p>The data set contains the results of measurements performed with a pixel semiconductor Timepix detector in the mixed radiation field produced by a therapeutic proton beam in water. It consists of 16 files, each of which corresponds to a single measurement. Measurements were performed with 150 MeV or 171.66 MeV pencil proton beam in a water phantom at various depths and at various distances from the beam axis. Single proton LET information can be retrieved from the tot.clog file that contains the ToT signal recorded in individual pixels.</p> <p>Each folder contains two files. The tot.clog file contains a record of the measured ToT signal in individual pixels after clustering the signal from individual particles. Each line starting with "Frame" stands for another frame. Each line between the new frame lines corresponds to one cluster of pixels and consists of square brackets, each of which corresponds to a single pixel where the signal was recorded. Each square bracket contains three values for a given pixel: the x position of the pixel in the matrix, the y position of the pixel in the matrix, and the ToT value. The tot.clog.idx file contains additional information about the measurement and is not necessary for further analysis.</p> <p> </p>
