Whole-genome analysis and annotation reports of PET-degrading bacterial strains isolated from soil

This dataset contains the complete microbial genome annotation report of Paenibacillus naphthalenovorans PETKKU2, a novel bacterium capable of degrading polyethylene terephthalate microplastics (PET-MP). The dataset includes analyses of read quality, de novo assembly, genome completeness and contamination, genome-based taxonomy, gene annotation, antimicrobial resistance profiling, secondary metabolite biosynthetic gene clusters, and orthologous cluster comparison.
