Compilation of GPS data gathered by City staff and volunteers, utilizing handheld GPS units with a level of accuracy <5 meters. This file does not include all protected wildlife located within the City, as a street by street survey has not been completed since 2009. This file is updated frequently as new species locations are reported to the City. The data is current on the date of download only. Although the data points were valid at the time they were collected, use of this data is not guaranteed to include all protected wildlife locations within the City. The intended use of this data is a guide. Ground truthing must be utilized to guarantee protected species are not located on a property and are not impacted by land clearing or construction activities.本数据集为市政工作人员与志愿者采集的GPS（Global Positioning System，全球定位系统）数据汇编，采用精度小于5米的手持GPS设备采集。由于自2009年起未开展逐街普查，本文件未覆盖本市范围内所有受保护野生动物。本文件将根据市政部门收到的新物种分布报告进行频繁更新。本数据仅在下载当日处于最新有效状态。尽管数据采集时点的点位信息均为有效，但无法保证本数据集覆盖本市所有受保护野生动物的分布点位。本数据的预设用途仅为参考指引。若需确保受保护物种未栖息于某地块，且未受土地清理或施工活动影响，则必须开展实地核查（ground truthing）。
