HNF1B binds the HNF4A gene

HNF1B binds the promoter of the HNF4A gene and activates expression in the distal region of the comma-shaped body and the proximal region of the S-shaped body (inferred from mouse homologs and embryos in Heliot et al. 2013). In mice, Hnf4a encodes a transcription factor that is required for proximal tubule development, probably by regulating proximal tubule-specific genes (Marable et al. 2018).

HNF1B结合HNF4A基因的启动子，并激活位于逗号形体远端区域及S形体近端区域的表达（根据Heliot等人在2013年的研究结果推断）。在老鼠中，Hnf4a编码的转录因子对于近端肾小管发育至关重要，其作用可能通过调节近端肾小管特异性基因实现（Marable等人在2018年的研究指出）。
