Data from N meningitidis saliva Portugal (01-2019)

We have completed a project which evaluates detection of the meningitis- and septicaemia-causing bacterium Neisseria meningitidis in saliva samples in healthy students and compares the results with those from throat swabs taken simultaneously from the same subjects. The paper reporting the results of the project have been accepted for publication by the journal PlosONE. A condition of publication is that an anonymised data file is made publicly available that will permit readers to reproduce our analysis and to perform additional analyses if they so wish. Accordingly we now apply to make these data available In the University of Bristol Research Data Repository. The data we wish to make available are in the excel file uploaded with this application.
