资源简介:
This dataset contains raw extracted master temperature–time data and representative thermal video recordings obtained from transient convective heating experiments conducted on seven banana–bagasse fiber hybrid biocomposite laminate configurations, including neat epoxy (EP100) and filler-modified systems containing 0–5 wt% conch shell powder.
Active infrared thermography was used to monitor surface temperature evolution under a standardized thermal loading protocol consisting of 30 s convective heating (approximately 100 °C hot air) followed by 60 s natural cooling. Temperature data were recorded at 1 frame per second over a total duration of 90 s. Each laminate configuration was tested in triplicate (n = 3), and the master dataset includes all replicate measurements.
The dataset includes:
• Raw time-resolved temperature data (0–90 s) for all seven laminate systems
• Extracted thermographic metrics (T0, T30, Tmax, T90, heating rate Rh, cooling rate Rc, and thermal retention ratio TR)
• Master compiled dataset used for statistical analysis
• Sample thermal video files for each laminate plate demonstrating the transient heating and cooling behavior
All quantitative metrics reported in the associated manuscript were derived from raw, unsmoothed temperature data. The thermal videos provide visual validation of surface temperature evolution and phase transitions during heating and cooling.
This dataset supports the manuscript entitled:
