Genotyping summary and clade assignment.Data for 51 DFT1 tumours presented by Patton et al. [14], as well as for 78 DFT1 tumours and 80 normal devil genomes presented by Stammnitz et al. [7] are shown. N denotes the number of clade-defining variants genotyped for each clade. Somatic variants were defined as “present” if ≥3 reads supporting the alternative allele were detected. False negative rate is estimated using the proportion of clade-defining variants that failed to be identified as “present” for the assigned clade. Full somatic variant subsets are listed in supplementary data S1.
