Number of hospitals in Turkey 2010-2022

In 2022, there were 1,547 inpatient medical institutions in Turkey. Between 2010 and 2022, the number of institutions has increased by over one hundred, going up from 1,439 to 1,555 in this time period. Healthcare personnel in TurkeyAlongside this rise in hospitals in the country, the number of physicians employed has also increased since 2000. Furthermore, a 2023 study found that 37 percent of those surveyed trusted in the quality of health care treatment in Turkey, compared to 23 percent who did not.
