Eclipsing Cataclysmic Variables (CVs) provide an unique opportunity toinvestigate deeply into their X-ray emitting regions by disentangling thesoft X-ray emission and the hard X-ray emission. The proposal requestssimultaneous NuSTAR and XMM observations of two eclipsing CVs: UU Aqra nova-like variable and V902 Mon an intermediate polar. The jointobservations are requested over the two orbital cycles of the source:29 ks for UU Aqr and 59 ks for V902 Mon each with NuSTAR and XMM. Theobservations would be used to detect X-ray eclipses and infer the originof the hard X-rays [truncated! Please see actual data for full text]
