Upper Flint River Basin Profile

<p>The Upper Flint River Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC)-8 Basin is located in the southern section of the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District (the District), encompassing about 556 square miles or 11 percent of its total area. This also represents 21 percent of the overall Upper Flint River Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC)-8 Basin, which extends downstream to Macon County in southern Georgia. </p>
