Whole genome shotgun sequencing of bacterial mock community found in staggered abundance using the Ion Torrent platform. Mixture was obtained from bei resources catalog number HM-277D and contains genomes of 20 bacterial species. Sequences were used as a control for the validation of both the sequencing platform and the bioinformatics involved for taxonomic classification of the short reads.
