This archive consists of images from an archaeological trench evaluation by Network Archaeology Ltd at 2 Church Hill, Akeley, Buckinghamshire, in August 2011. The evaluation identified landscaping events probably associated with demolition and re-building on the site The artefactual material recovered indicated that that human activity has been taking place in or around the area since the 16th century, and that such activity was likely domestic settlement and that by the 19th century, at least, the household present was moderately affluent.
