This table is referenced within the ACCA Subscriptions dashboard, which shows subscriber history from ACCA venues within downtown Aurora. The table consists of the following columns: Year Quarter Event Type Subscriber Count Event Type Column includes the following events: Paramount Theatre Broadway Series Copley Theatre BOLD Series This information is provided by Aurora Civic Center Authority, and it's timeline covers 2011 until present day. Aurora Civic Center Authority Subscriptions ACCA Subscriptions started with the inception of the BROADWAY Series of shows in 2011. Prior to 2011 Subscriptions were sold for one-off presented show series, however the numbers for the presented shows series were significantly lower and were not tracked in the same manner nor are they a fair comparative to the current subscription series. Hence, we are only showing the growth of the current subscription series from their inception, BROADWAY in 2011 and BOLD in 2021. The patron numbers in 2020 and 2021 are lower than previous years due to the pandemic which prevented public performances in the state of Illinois for a substantial period of time. When Paramount reopened in 2021 there was slow return to pre-pandemic numbers due to the public’s risk tolerance for returning to public gatherings. While this did take time, the return of subscriptions and patrons to performances has been much quicker than other theatres in the region and country, making Paramount the largest subscription-based theatre in the country (prior to the pandemic Paramount was the second largest).
