资源简介:
This study is about the use of a low-cost, self-swabbing HPV testing approach and evaluates its analytical performance, temperature stability, and clinical usability for high-risk HPV detection using self and clinician-collected vaginal swabs. We tested hrHPV plasmid DNA and cervical cancer cell lines, likely to assess assay sensitivity, stability under less controlled conditions, and how usable the method is outside a specialist laboratory setting since hrHPV screening is paramount to cervical cancer prevention. However, access can be limited by cost, transport, and laboratory infrastructure. A low-cost, stable, self-collected method could make screening easier in lower-resource settings and improve diagnostic yield.
