In our pilot study, we analyzed for the first time the microbial community of the Moscow Infectious Diseases Hospital (Russia) during the first wave of coronavirus infection in Russia (March-September 2020) using 16S rRNA sequencing. Microbial communities were associated with various hospital surfaces in two different department (RID = Respiratory Infections Unit; ICU = Intensive Care Unit).
