资源简介:
The rapid melting of glaciers as well as the loss of sea ice in the Amundsen Sea makes it an ideal environmental setting for the investigation of the impacts of climate change in the Antarctic on the distribution and production of mesozooplankton.
Mesozooplankton samples were collected with a Bongo net (mesh apertures 330 and 505 lm) at 15 selected stations. The net was towed twice vertically or obliquely within the upper 200 m of the water column. Tow speed and duration were about 1.5–2 knots and 15–20 min, respectively.
The primary objectives were to describe the mesozooplankton community and to investigate the linkages between major environmental factors and the mesozooplankton community in the Amundsen Sea.
