Oral microbiome in children with leukemia

The objective of this study was to analyze the oral microbiome in pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia before and during chemotherapy and to show the dynamics of the oral microbiome during chemotherapy and oral mucositis. This study is relevant in the medical and oral pathology field, since it can provide information about microorganisms related to chemotherapy complications.
