Gut microbial diversity

There are many kinds of microorganisms in the gut, and the imbalance of intestinal flora is directly or indirectly related to the occurrence and development of many diseases, such as diarrhea, inflammatory bowel disease, and even chronic metabolic diseases such as obesity, diabetes and liver injury. With the vigorous development of modern molecular biotechnology, the difficult problem of microbial research has been solved, and the research of intestinal microbes has entered a new stage. With the amplification of the 16S sequence, the researchers were able to perform PCA and PCoA analysis of the large amount of data through bioinformatics to determine whether there were differences in the major components of the gut microbiome before the onset of the disease.
