Forest and openland biotopes of biotope mapping in Saxony — Biotope description of lined biotopes

The data set contains the descriptions of the lined forest and openland biotopes of the nationwide selective biotope mapping carried out by the Land Office for the Environment, Agriculture and Geology of Saxony (LfULG) and the state enterprise Sachsenforst (SBS) (2. Passage) in the Free State of Saxony. Selective means that only the particularly rare and protective biotopes have been mapped. For each biotope, in addition to the biotope identification number, a textual description of the biotope and suggestions for the maintenance and development of the biotope are given. No independent biotope mapping has been carried out since 2009. The survey is carried out as part of the coarse monitoring of the flora-fauna habitat types.
