Host plant selection tool of pests affecting fruit-bearing vegetables in the EU

This database "Host plant selection tool of pests affecting fruit-bearing vegetables in the EU" has been prepared to support the survey cards of pests affecting fruit-bearing vegetables. The pest survey cards are prepared in the context of EFSA’s mandate on plant pest surveillance (M-2020-0114) at the request of the European Commission. The preparation of both this database and the pest survey cards for pest affecting fruit-bearing vegetables was carried out within the framework of grant GP/EFSA/PLANTS/2022/10 - Lot 1.The pest survey cards are available in the EFSA gallery: https://efsa.europa.eu/plants/planthealth/monitoring/surveillance/gallery In total, 28 EU regulated pests are included in the grant of pests affecting fruit bearing vegetables, and in particular: Ceratothripoides claratris, Diabrotica undecimpunctata howardi, Diabrotica undecimpunctata undecimpunctata, Helicoverpa zea, Keiferia lycopersicella, Lettuce infectious yellows virus, Liriomyza bryoniae, Liriomyza huidobrensis, Liriomyza sativae, Liriomyza trifolii, Meloidogyne enterolobii, Melon yellowing-associated virus, Neoleucinodes elegantalis, Prodiplosis longifila, Ralstonia pseudosolanacearum, Spodoptera eridania, Squash vein yellowing virus, Thrips palmi, Tomato chocolàte virus, Tomato marchitez virus, Tomato mild mottle virus, Xiphinema americanum sensu stricto, Xiphinema bricolense, Xiphinema californicum, Xiphinema inaequale, Xiphinema intermedium, Xiphinema rivesi (non-EU populations) and Xiphinema tarjanense.
