Mareano samples Grabb — species diversity, individuals and biomass

The data set shows points of analysed physical samples from the grab. The data set shows species diversity (by the number of different species), individuals (aggregated sum of the number of individuals) and biomass (aggregated value of individual weight). Grabb (van Veen grabb) is used to take samples of the animals living down in the sediments on the seabed. The grab takes a deep “jafs” of the seabed within an area that is most often from 0.1 to 0.25 m², depending on the type of grab.
