Data and code for Global energy-transition metal price shocks and subnational fiscal stress: Evidence on the financing structure of mineral exploration in China

This dataset contains the replication package for the paper “Global energy-transition metal price shocks and subnational fiscal stress: Evidence on the financing structure of mineral exploration in China”. It includes a cleaned province–year panel dataset used in the empirical analysis, replication scripts, and documentation (README) describing data construction and steps to reproduce the tables and figures. The underlying raw data are from publicly available sources including the IMF Primary Commodity Prices database, the Ministry of Natural Resources of the People’s Republic of China, and the National Bureau of Statistics of China.
