This data investigates the relationship between cognitive-sensory impairments (CSI) and labor productivity using panel data from Living Standards Measurement Study across four West African countries between 2018-2022. Through heteroscedasticity-based instruments and two-stage generalized method of moments estimator, we analyze the causal mechanisms linking CSI to labor productivity. The effect exhibits substantial heterogeneity across education levels and economic sectors, with pronounced impacts in services and among highly educated workers. These findings analytically unpack how institutional structures and human capital mediate CSI-productivity relationships in West African labor markets.
