VPRS 3456 War Damage Insurance Valuations

This series records valuations of properties made by the City of Northcote (and payments made) for the Commonwealth of Australia War Damage Commission under the National Security (War Damage to Property) Regulations.Entries in these volumes record an assessment number, name and address of the property/owner, valuation detail and payments made. Payments appear to have been made during 1942 and 1943; payments appeared to have been made for a handful of properties during 1994 and 1945.
