资源简介:
The environmental risk associated with burial to be the potential contamination of ground or surface water with chemical products generated during decomposition process. In order to simulate the decomposition of bovine carcass in real burial site, lab-scale reactor with a volume of 5.15 m3 was designed. The bacterial communities in leachates originating from the decomposition of bovine were investigated. The leachate samples were collected using a peristaltic pump once in a month for a period of four months, and bacterial communities in samples were identified using 16S rRNA gene. We obtained 110,442 reads from triplicated samples of each sampling time (total of 12 samples) and found that the phylum Firmicutes predominated in most of periods. Some variations were observed in triplicated samples, and different changes were investigated in each decomposition time. The bacterial communities after four months showed the most different composition than other periods. Genera of Pseudomonas and Psychrobacter within Proteobacteria were dominated after three month in all samples. Uncultured Bacillaceae, Clostridium and uncultured Clostridiales were found to be predominant after four month, excluding one of replicated sample, while uncultured Planococcaceae was found to be dominated after first and second month of sampling period in certain samples. These results indicate that the composition of bacterial communities in leachates of decomposing bovine carcass shifted continuously during the study period and significant changes were detected after four month.
