Raw areal surface texture measurements (.txt, values in µm) for aluminium alloy 6082-T651 (9 samples, Al_sample_1–9) and stainless steel Uddeholm Ramax HH (8 samples, Ss_sample_1–8), in one folder. Files are numbered in ascending order corresponding to decreasing roughness. The rough/medium/smooth reference samples used in the related article are labelled accordingly in the filename; the remaining files provide additional intermediate roughness levels.
