Climate Forcing Data at Ten Drilling Mud Sumps in the Mackenzie River Delta, Northwest Territories, Canada

The dataset provides climate forcing from the ERA5 reanalysis for historical period (Jan, 1, 1940 - Dec, 31, 2024) and CMIP6 model projections for future scenarios (Jan, 1, 2025 - Dec, 31, 2100). CMIP6 forcing is taken from the MPI-ESM1-2-HR and AWI-CM-1-1-MR models under the SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5 scenarios and includes the following variables: time, air temperature (Tair), total precipitation (Prec), rainfall, snowfall, specific humidity (q), surface pressure (p), incoming shortwave radiation (Sin), incoming longwave radiation (Lin), and wind speed at ten drilling mud sumps in the Northwest Territories of Canada. The dataset consists of .csv files, each representing an ERA5 grid cell containing a mud sump. Each file contains ERA5 reanalysis data for the historical period up to 2025 and climate projections for the period 2025–2100.
