We observed the heterogeneity of CD4+ T cells and identified a group of more activated, proliferated, and developed aorta Tregs in abdominal aortic aneurysms. These Tregs originate in the spleen and acquire the tissue-specific phenotype in the aorta. Figure 6 shows flow cytometry analysis of T cell subgroups in AAA spleen and aorta. Figure 7 treg precursor cluster in the spleen identified by adoptive transfer.
