Net sales of drugs in pharmacies in Spain 2012-2022

In 2022, the net value of pharmaceutical products sold in pharmacies in Spain amounted to approximately 10.8 billion euros, up from around 10.7 billion euros a year earlier. This value has been increasing since 2013, when it reached over eight billion euros. As of 2021, the number of employees in the pharmaceutical industry in Spain was estimated at 51,300.
