Dataset and codes for airborne observation of refractory black carbon over the Yellow Sea

This dataset and codes provide information from aircraft observations of refractory black carbon over the Yellow Sea. Refractory black carbon was measured using a Single Particle Soot Photometer (SP2, Droplet Measurement Technologies). 1) F210208_BC_10s.csv ~ F210329_BC_10s.csv - DateTime: YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss (Local Time) - MrBC_STP: Mass concentration of refractory black carbon (rBC) under standard temperature and pressure condition (unit: ng/m3) 2) Weather.zip - Raw data from the Aircraft Integrated Meteorological Measurement System (AIMMS) - Includes: Temperature, Relative humidity, Pressure, Wind Speed, Wind Direction, etc. 3) HYSPLIT_trajectory.py - Generate back traejctory data using the HYPSLIT model 4) BCinventory_worldmap.py - Visualizes grided BC emission data on a map using the EDGAR emission inventory 5) AOD_traj_map.py - Visualizes grided Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) data and back trajectories on a map using MODIS AOD data
