Digital Archive from a Magnetometry Survey between Long Newton Sewage Treatment Works, Stockton-on Tees and Middleton One Row Sewage Pumping Station, Darlington (Goosebeck WINEP Transfer), 2023-2024

This collection comprises geophysical data, rendered raster plots and a report from a magnetometry survey undertaken by 360 Archaeology and Heritage Ltd between September 2023 and February 2024. The survey was undertaken over a 8.2km pipeline easement, on land located between Long Newton Sewage Treatment Works in Stockton-on Tees and Middleton One Row Sewage Pumping Station in Darlington. The survey included four additional areas to be used as compounds as well as a revised 1.5km easement near Middleton One Row that was designed after the completion of the initial route. Significant magnetic responses near Middleton One Row suggested multiple phases of occupation, featuring strong and weaker responses forming enclosures, linear delineations, pits, and curvilinear features.
