资源简介:
These data and codes are for "The estimation of additive genetic variance of body size in a wild passerine is sensitive to the method used to estimate relatedness among the individuals" by Jablonszky et al.
Additive genetic variance and heritability of tarsus length was investigated with animal models, relatedness was assessed among the individuals with two different matrixes: one based on social pedigree and a genetic similarity matrix based on SNPs.
The data was collected in a Hungarian population of collared flycatcher (Ficedula albicollis). Tarsus length was measured and blood sample was collected from the birds. Pedigree were built based on a long-term dataset.
Files:
Am_csakszoc.Rdata - social pedigree matrix
gdmatrix5_morf.Rdata - genetic similarity matrix
sdata2_dataset.Rdata - the data, ring_ring and ring2 are IDs compatible with the pedigree matrices and the genetic similarity matrix respectively. Sex if M for males and F for females. Measurer2 was made by eliminating one measurer for which there was not enough data. Tars is tarsus length (in 0.1 mm), tars_repeatno is indicating the order of the focal measurement among the tarsus length measurements of the individual. Minage is the known minimum age of the birds
tarsusheritability_code.R - the code
