Biomass – waste wood from households (a,b and c) 2019

To obtain data on the amount of wood released as residual streams within Zuid-Holland, this flow is initially subdivided as follows: — A/B wood from households — C-wood from households — Wood from (natural) landscape A-wood is non-impregnated, unlacquered and untreated wood, which is often recycled. B wood is about less quality wood, which can serve excellently as raw material for the production of, for example, pallets, bobbins and chipboard. When the wood is very poorly prepared, it is used as a biofuel for generating sustainable energy in bioenergy plants. C – Wood relates to treated and impregnated such as for example, bezels, garden wood and fence posts (North Dutch Cleaning Service, NNRD).
