Data for the regulation of earthworms on the response of greenhouse gas emissions to simulated warming and flooding

Wetlands are a significant source of greenhouse gases and are ideal habitats for soil invertebrates. Earthworms are soil ecosystem engineers as they directly or indirectly influence greenhouse gas emissions through their activities. Based on a microcosm incubation of wetland soil, we investigated how earthworms regulate the direction and magnitude of greenhouse gas responses to climate change.
