Raw data for the analysis of muti-element stoichiometry in evaluating the response of oceanic productivity to cryosphere-derived nutrient fluxes

Glacier runoff supplies iron (Fe) to Antarctic coastal ecosystems, and has the potential to enhance marine productivity as global warming increases annual meltwater discharge. However, the long-term fertilization potential of this Fe flux depends on the availability of other essential macro- and micro-nutrients, including cobalt. Here, we present the first multi-year (2021-2023) trace metal dataset from glacier meltwater in the Antarctic Peninsula, together with a global compilation of meltwater dissolved cobalt, iron, and manganese concentrations.
